# Purchasing & eligibility

> Snapshot rights for Vault, current ownership for Wild.

Stickers are sold only through the **.STKR app for the relevant project**.

Users link a wallet that proves their connection to the community or builder project, such as a wallet holding the relevant NFT. The rules below describe NFT-based eligibility.

People outside the community can also sign in and buy Basic stickers, or special-series stickers offered to them, when available.

## Vault: rights are set by the snapshot

A snapshot is a record of NFT ownership taken before a series is released.

For Vault, this snapshot determines the right to purchase that series. **Selling the NFT after the snapshot does not remove the Vault purchase right already granted for that series.**

Buying an NFT after the snapshot does not grant a Vault purchase right for that snapshot's series.

## Wild: current ownership determines eligibility

Wild eligibility depends on **holding the relevant NFT at the time of purchase**.

Someone who acquires the NFT after a snapshot can buy Wild if the purchase limit has not been reached. Someone who sells the NFT no longer qualifies for Wild on the basis of that NFT.

## Two examples

For an October series:

| Situation | October Vault | October Wild |
| ------------------------------------------------------------ | -------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------- |
| The linked wallet held the NFT at the snapshot, then sold it | Can buy using the snapshot right | Cannot buy on the basis of the sold NFT |
| The linked wallet acquired the NFT after the snapshot | Cannot buy using that NFT | Can buy if the purchase limit has not been reached |

These examples concern the NFT in question. Both assume that the series is still on sale and that the applicable purchase allowance remains available.

## The sales period applies to everyone

**Once a series' sales period ends, it can no longer be purchased, even if the user previously had a purchase right.**

A snapshot right does not extend the sales period.

## Basic and special series

Basic does not require ownership of the community NFT.

Special-series availability and purchasing conditions depend on the event. Check the series information for the types offered, sales period, and purchase limits.
